"Jefferson’s execution"

In Chapter 31,As the hour of Jefferson’s execution approaches, Grant steps outside the  schoolhouse,Thinking about old friends classmates, and baseball teammates. Some of his friends have died. Grant was saying that there will be more people like Jefferson. Grant wonders if he has caused Jefferson to lose faith in God and asks Jefferson to forgive his foolishness if he has robbed him of faith.

Then, Paul comes to the church to give him the Diary of Jefferson. Paul said that Jefferson had walked to the electric chair. Paul also said that Jefferson have more strength than any man in the room. When they executed him. He told Grant that he was a wonderful teacher, because he help Jefferson so he can walk to the chair and die with dignity.Paul offers Grant his hand and asks to be his friend. Grant takes the hand.

I think this chapter is very important tool, because we can read that in the end Jefferson walked till the electric chair as his godmother wanted it to be.And also we can read that Jefferson was strong for the time of his execution.I think Grant helped him to change and to see the things differently. And I also think that Grant and Miss Emma felt proud to know that Jefferson died with dignida.

"Jefferson Diary"

In Chapter 29, Jefferson wrote his thoughts, all the good times in his like and the bad times too that he lived with those people who loved him.Jefferson also said in his diary that he could not sleep more, because every time he close his eyes, he look the door, and the door represent where the electric chair was, and he has to walk through that door.

The most important thing I think of this chapter is the last part, because he say goodbye to Grant, and the most interesting part of this chapter is when Jefferson tells Grant to tell everyone that he is strong and he's a human being, and not a hog. This part is very important because we can see that Jefferson understood that he was a human and not an animal. As his lawyer called him.

I think this chapter of all the chapters is the most interesting, because we can see that Jefferson finally understood that he was a man and not an animal. And I think that for Grant read the diary had been very important to him, because he can see that he help Jefferson to understand that he was a man, and he also help Jefferson to die with dignity.I believe that when Grant read this diary he understood that he was very helpful to Jefferson.
